At an event in Skopje, together with our partner TeleAlarm, we had the opportunity to meet and talk with several key delegations, including representatives from: Swiss Red Cross, Bavarian Red Cross- RC Nuremberg, Swiss delegation from Sarajevo, Red Cross of Skopje and Red cross of North Macedonia.
Their presence underscored the importance of the initiative from Red Cross Macedonia and the broad support for enhancing emergency response services in Macedonia.
We took the chance to engage in deeper conversation with the Emergency Button Manager in the Red Cross of North Macedonia, Aleksandra Boeva Todorovska, who were happy to provide insights into their experience with Skyresponse's and TeleAlarm's full cloud-based software solution.
The primary reason for changing platforms was the necessity for a more reliable and scalable solution, particularly in light of our office relocation. Our existing system was not cloud-based, and the costs associated with investing in new servers and equipment were prohibitive. Additionally, we sought to eliminate our dependence on a traditional telephone central. In summary, we required a robust and fully digital platform capable of supporting our expanding needs and delivering a seamless experience for our users.
In our search for a new solution, we prioritized the following features:

Our initial experiences with the Skyresponse platform have been very positive. The implementation process was smooth, with the Skyresponse team providing excellent support throughout. The system's user-friendly interface made the transition easy for our staff, and the reliability of the cloud-based service has been a significant improvement over our previous solution.
Early results have been encouraging. We have seen a notable decrease in system downtimes and faster response times to emergencies. The scalability of the platform has allowed us to handle a higher volume of calls efficiently, and the integration capabilities have streamlined our operations significantly.
The dialogues with Skyresponse’s and TeleAlarm's team have been very constructive. The onboarding process was well-structured, with clear guidance and support at every step. The relationship has been collaborative, with regular check-ins to ensure everything is running smoothly and to address any concerns promptly. The Skyresponse and TeleAlarm team has been responsive and proactive in offering solutions and improvements.
We see our relationship with Skyresponse and TeleAlarm as a long-term partnership. Moving forward, we are looking at further integrations with other technologies and devices to enhance our emergency response capabilities. Utilizing advanced technology, including a cloud-based platform, the centre operates 24/7 to ensure timely assistance for medical emergencies, accidents, and other urgent situations.
