In February 2022, our partner, one of the UK’s leading telecare and telehealth solution providers, were delighted to announce an exciting new and innovative partnership with Swedish cloud-based alarm management software provider, Skyresponse.

Through a collaborative approach, the Skyresponse platform, which already supports more than 100,000 digital technology enabled service users in multiple European countries, was tailored for the UK market. The result was our partner’s new future proof alarm handling platform. By the middle of 2022, our partner went to market with their solution and within weeks, they signed their first customer.  Since then, our partner have successfully partnered with digital only customers, but as of August 2023, they went live with their first customer, Fife Council, who are utilizing the platform for both analogue and digital alarms.

The solution offered to Fife Council is a true cloud-based alarm handling platform, managing incoming alarms from analogue and digital devices, customised alarm handling UX and mobile response app for field workers, with a guaranteed audit trail. The multi-level admin tool is a web-based solution that includes full integration of telephony with third-party calls and recordings.

Benefits:

The benefits of using this solution are full scalability, future proofed technology via open and published APIs and flexible routing of alarms. No hardware is required for running the platform and the interface is customisable for operators. Disaster Recovery is included in the core service (no need for DR sites).

Fife Council have an ongoing, long-term relationship with the Skyresponse partner over provision of telecare services. This relationship has proved invaluable during our transition from analogue to digital services.

  • ” The partner have worked with us during all stages of the process; through planning, testing and implementation of the new system, supported by Skyresponse. The diverse nature of the estate dependent on the ARC – from dispersed units in individual homes to warden call systems with care homes – presented a challenging project. The partner worked with us to ensure the challenges were understood and successfully met.” Says Kenny Graham, Project Manager at Fife.

Kenny Graham continues;

“- The critical nature of the service provision meant the test period was extensive to ensure live implementation went smoothly with minimum disruption. Support was from a dedicated team which was able to swiftly respond to issues as they arose and worked closely with our project team, staff and other stakeholders to achieve this. The new digital platform will enable Fife Council to continue its telecare provision during and beyond the transition to digital services.”
